Behind the scenes, a secondary verification process, involving algorithms and data mining, takes place within a matter of seconds, resulting in the approval or rejection of a transaction. If all peers in the network approve the transaction, it is posted to the shared ledger, where it remains immutable. Any new transactions are reflected in the blockchain for all the members to see, approve or reject.

“Technically my role will eventually be mostly leading the production operations team for blockchain. And more than likely helping to plan and execute upgrades from that perspective as well as planning for the successful onboarding of new blockchain based apps. However currently, my main work revolves around getting their foundational enterprise blockchain project operationally ready. So that has included architecting their administrative workstation interface in such a fashion that would pass their security audits, helping them build out their CI/CD dev, stage, and prod pipelines, building their monitoring, logging, and security auditing framework, building out the operational playbooks and documentation for running and administering their cloud environments for their foundational blockchain as well as their purpose built applications that use it, and determining their disaster management, recovery, and high availability strategies. I would say my position is most closely related to an engineering manager role currently with occasional tech lead duties. The majority of my day is meetings and working groups to interpret management and lead architect decisions and test and implement dev team developed solutions.”
